Industrial Centrifugal Fans
Engineered Air-Moving Solutions for Industrial Applications
Industrial Centrifugal Fans Manufacturer | Industrial Exhaust Fans | High-Pressure Fans | Process Air Fans
Hare Krishna Blower designs and manufactures industrial centrifugal fans for reliable air movement, ventilation, exhaust, process-air handling, dust extraction, fume extraction, HVAC and air-pollution-control applications.
Our centrifugal fan solutions are engineered according to the required airflow, pressure, temperature, air density, gas characteristics, operating speed and application conditions.
Rather than selecting a fan only by motor HP, the fan is selected around the required duty point: Airflow + Pressure.
1. WHAT IS AN INDUSTRIAL CENTRIFUGAL FAN?
An industrial centrifugal fan is a rotating air-moving machine in which air enters the impeller generally in an axial direction and is accelerated radially outward.
The impeller converts mechanical energy into air velocity and pressure. The casing then guides the air toward the discharge outlet while allowing recovery of part of the velocity energy.
Basic Airflow Path
Inlet → Impeller → Velocity Generation → Pressure Development → Casing → Discharge
Industrial centrifugal fans are particularly useful where the air-handling system has significant resistance due to ducts, filters, dampers, scrubbers, cyclones, heat exchangers or other process equipment.
2. INDUSTRIAL CENTRIFUGAL FAN – KEY PARAMETERS
Fan selection depends on several engineering parameters:
ParameterTypical UnitAirflowCMH / CFMStatic PressuremmWG / Pa / in. WGTotal PressurePa / mmWGTemperature°CAir Densitykg/m³SpeedRPMMotor RatingHP / kWEfficiency%NoisedB(A)RotationCW / CCWDriveDirect / Belt / Coupled
The actual operating point should be clearly defined before final fan selection.
3. WHY CHOOSE AN INDUSTRIAL CENTRIFUGAL FAN?
Industrial centrifugal fans are commonly selected when the application requires:
- Reliable continuous air movement
- Higher pressure capability
- Long duct systems
- Exhaust against system resistance
- Dust or fume extraction
- Process-air circulation
- Industrial ventilation
- HVAC air handling
- Air pollution control
- Customized construction
The correct fan configuration depends on the actual application and duty point.
4. CENTRIFUGAL FAN IMPELLER TYPES
Hare Krishna Blower can engineer industrial centrifugal fans using different impeller geometries.
Backward Curved
Suitable for applications where efficiency and stable operating characteristics are important.
Typical applications include:
- Industrial ventilation
